Sewing Lately

I know I said I was back and then I never posted again:)  I've been busy sewing and starting a new semester teaching.  Here are a few random items I've made since my last post.   I have some new spring fabric that is super cute.  Check out the "In-Stock" fabric section (scroll to the bottom for the newest fabric).  I've also made a couple of things for EmK without an actual pattern.  I need to turn them into patterns for all of you out there that sew, but I'm not sure I will have the time before baby G arrives.  Either way I'll post pictures soon.  

I'm Back....

I took a few weeks off in December to spend some time with my family and travel to see extended family (and my husband was out of town for 2 full weeks so that made sewing pretty tough).  It's been a nice break and while I did a few things during the off time....maybe some baby bedding:)....I'm now back in full swing...sorta;)

It's hard to believe another year has come and gone.  My daughter turns 3 at the end of this week and it seems to just be flying by.  This second pregnancy is also FLYING by.  I only have 10 weeks to go...and I'm starting to wonder if this little guy will wait 10 more weeks.  I really hope so:) because I have lots I want to do!

So all that to say, I am not exactly sure how things will go as far as orders once baby Grayson arrives.  I will post more information on that in the next week or so.  In the meantime, just remember that my due date is March 15th and I will likely stop taking orders (or limit my orders significantly) towards the end of February.  I hope to sew along the way, but you just never know so if there's something you just have to have for spring, I suggest ordering early:)

Here are a few outfits I finished this week.

It's Already November...

I can't believe it's already November.  The last few months have just flown by.  I've been busy sewing and daydreaming about a BOY nursery:)  Yes we are having a BOY!  We found out a couple of weeks ago.  It's funny because when I was pregnant with Emily Kathryn I didn't even have my own sewing machine....I borrowed my sister's to make a few burp cloths.  It's crazy to think how far I'm come in sewing since then.  I have never really done home decor sewing, but this past summer I made my first set of curtains for Emk's big girl room (I'll share pictures at some point....I just keep forgetting to take them).  Now I plan to make BB's (Baby Barrow because we have no name) bedding:) I'll be honest, I don't actually know what I'm doing, but I've ordered the fabric and we will see what happens.  A friend told me yesterday about a seamstress she knows so I guess if I get in over my head (I'm probably there already) I can always call for help:)

Sewing

I just got back from spending the weekend in Atalanta with two of my best friends (and old roommates).  It's been way too long since we got to spend a couple of days together.  I LOVED all the girl talk and shopping:) and knowing I had this trip planned definitely motivated me to get lots of sewing finished before I left:)
