Lots of SEWING this week
This week my mom and dad kept EmK for me. We met them halfway (my parents live in Robertsdale...which is near Gulf Shores) on Sunday afternoon and they kept her so I could get caught up on my sewing. I'm not exactly caught up BUT I got a TON accomplished...and while my mom says it's to help me have more sewing time (which it did) she also wanted that sweet girl ALL to herself (I can't really blame her). It was the first time to be away from EmK for so long and to be at home. Normally when we're away from her it's because we are traveling somewhere, so it was weird at first being home without her. I have enjoyed my time. I was joking with a friend when she asked me what fun things I was doing and my response was things like "watching the Today show while I drink my coffee" or "taking a shower whenever I wanted". It's been nice...the house has been quiet......I've gotten lots done....and now I'm READY to see my sweet girl:)

Girl Outfits
PRECIOUS girl outfits with AMAZING fabrics. People email me all the time because they can't make up their mind....here's a little secret....I usually can't make up my mind either:) There's just so much CUTE fabric out there!!!
You'll definitely be seeing the fabric below again. I emailed my customer as soon as she sent it to me to ask where it came from. I have a new pattern in mind and plan to use this fabric to make it:)

Addison Top
Thought I would post a few pictures of two tops I just finished. The "Addison Top" has two button holes on the back yoke. The straps go over the shoulder and tie in a bow on the back.
I've been looking at this elephant fabric for a while and when I saw two-sided polka dot ribbon while fabric shopping a couple of weeks ago, I knew I had use it in my next sewing project. Then I remembered the elephant fabric, ordered it online, and crossed my fingers that the colors would be the same...and as luck would have it they matched perfectly:) This fabric also comes in a blue/green combo and in giraffes.

Addison Dress
I have a NEW dress (which can actually be a top). Since I have several "tie" tops/dresses I'm going to start naming them.....so here is the "Addison" dress.
FIRST, I have to say that it's REALLY hard to photograph this dress. It has a lined bodice with ribbon that goes over the shoulders and through button holes on the back yoke and tied in a bow.
Again it can be made as a dress (shown) or as a top. I don't exactly have a "pattern". I bought something for EmK and loved it so much I decided to duplicate:) it.
The two shown are a size 2.
