Baby Items

Over the holidays I did a lot of nesting:)  I made crib and twin bedding for Grayson's room (pics soon).  I also appliqued some things for him....well probably a lot of things:) but I just couldn't help it. I found some cute gowns at Target that I monogrammed and here are some stuff of the blanks I have in stock that I monogrammed or appliqued.

and a few girls things....

A friend brought me these dresses to monogram.  The purple on the right was actually one of the first dresses I ever made for a mutual friend who had a little girl....and now it's been passed around.  It was fun to think about how far I have come with sewing since that very first dress!

Catching up.....

I've been busy the last week trying to catch up from being on vacation.  THANKS to everyone who purchased my Pre-Sale Outfits.  I think I have them all ready to ship the first of this week AND then I'll have a few NEW Outfits to show you...plus a new pattern I'm trying!  Here's a few things I've done in between all those outfits.

Baby Stuff

This post is FULL of baby stuff!  I love doing baby gifts.  I feel like you get to be really creative.   My husband was a huge fan of the Alabama one...he asked me first thing who it was for.

I also LOVE these oversized bibs.  You can get them with our with an applique.  EmK has several and they really do save her clothes...plus they are SO cute!

Burpcloths - I haven't done very many lately.  My favorite is the putting green!  These are great gifts and high quality burpcloths so they wash up great!

...last but not least, a onesie requested with my sewing machine applique.  Simple and CUTE!

MY Inspiration

This SWEET girl is the reason I sew:)  I LOVE her SO much...and it brings me great JOY to sew for her even into the early hours of the morning.  She is starting to figure out I make her clothes and when people comment she will say "mommy made this" even if I didn't:)  Oh, and she LOVES her hot pink sandals and would sleep in them IF we let her!
