New TOP - Harlowe

I saw the pattern for the Harlowe Top at the end of LAST summer and could not wait to make it. As I'm gearing up to sew for spring and summer, I thought it was the perfect time to try it.....especially when I found this fabric:)

It's back to late nights of sewing at my house as I keep finding new patterns to try! I LOVE sewing! If you even think you "might" want to sew...GIVE IT A TRY!!! I bet you'll love it!

Let's call her Stella:) Basically I just need a name so that when someone emails me I can easily figure out what top they are referring to.

I can't take credit for the idea for this top. A great customer of mine asked me if I could make a similar top she had for her daughter....so I went in search of a pattern...and after a couple of adjustments here is the final product.

I made my first Stella top and shorts for EmK. I tried to get her to model the outfit, but apparently it's traumatic to try on new clothes (or it is for my daughter). I hated to post a picture of her in tears so for now I'll continue to just take pictures without my cute model:)

Over the weekend I finished these shirts for a customer in Nebraska. Didn't she send me the CUTEST shirts to applique?!?! I LOVE:) how they turned out.

I LOVE this fabric! It's a favorite I have for this spring. I have several coordinating fabrics and plan to make a cute top when I get a little free time.

Shorts with POCKETS

You can now add pockets to pants or shorts for $2.00. I should have done this a long time ago....I think the pockets are SO cute. You can either do coordinating fabrics (as shown) or the same print. The possibilities are endless!
